Other Animals

Although the majority of animals seen are horses and dogs, it is possible to treat many other animals such as cats, goats, sheep, cattle, rabbits and even hamsters! Cats have much more flexible spines than the horse or dog so the risk of them suffering from a bad back is often less likely, but problems can still occur. For example neck injuries can occur when cats get caught up in fencing by their collars or they can suffer problems from fighting, obesity, old age etc. Cats also suffer from injuries sustained by road traffic accidents and can benefit greatly from treatment sessions. Treatment can reduce recovery time after injury or surgery. Cows respond well to treatment after calving difficulties.
