Background
I have been a keen animal lover for as far back as I can remember
and have been involved with their care and attention for many
years. I have developed this passion over the years for pleasure
and also in a professional capacity.
I began my formal training at Sheffield Hallam University
where I studied for a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science. I
then went on to complete an MSc in Applied Equine Science
at The Royal Agricultural College, before joining the McTimoney
College, from where I qualified with a Postgraduate Diploma
in Animal Manipulation (validated by the University of Wales).
In addition to this, I am also a qualified equine sports massage
therapist (Equine Body Worker) and have also undertaken several
British Horse Society examinations. I now work as an animal
therapist using such qualifications and techniques, covering
mainly the Worcestershire and West Midlands area

I currently live, and am based in Blakedown at New House
Farm Equestrian Centre which I own and supervise. The
centre is now home to a range of equestrian facilities
to include Clent Hills Veterinary Group Equine Hospital,
a 40 X 60 all-weather manege, 'The Tack Room' Equestrian
Shop and stabling for DIY and livery horses. |
